An addition of medium chain triglycerides, natural dietary fiber and stevia as a sweetener.
This product is LACTOSE FREE, GLUTEN FREE, SOY FREE, ASPARTAME FREE
PEA PROTEINS
Pea protein has excellent biological value. It provides 70% high quality protein, because it contains the 9 essential amino acids, glutamine, lysine, and even BCAAs. It is extremely well tolerated and assimilated. It is to be consumed alternately with other usual sources of protein, in order to vary the intake as much as possible, while approaching traditional food which mixes animal and vegetable proteins. Bonus: its appetite suppressant effect, due to its slow absorption.
RICE PROTEIN
Rice protein is of plant origin and is an excellent substitute for milk protein or animal protein. It has no less than 80% pure protein in its composition, a very high content for a 100% vegetable complex.
In addition, rice protein has a very high digestibility allowing optimal assimilation of its active ingredients by the body and the body for formidable efficiency and does not contain allergens such as gluten or milk.
The excellent amino acid profile of rice protein, offers an alternative to soy and whey protein providing a particularly full spectrum that the body needs to maintain and increase muscle mass.
MEDIUM CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES
What are TCMs and what are they used for?
Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) are derived from natural plant oils, and are classified as a fatty acid. They are truly different from typical fatty acids and contain much lower calorie content. MCTs are quickly absorbed and used as energy, and are more
closer to carbohydrates than lipids. MCTs provide athletes with a quick source of energy, much faster than maltodextrin or any other high glycemic carbohydrate, making them ideal for anyone looking to bulk up.
TCM and weight loss
MCTs have been shown to increase calorie burning and reduce blood glucose levels. It can help to lose weight and at the same time increase muscle mass. Since MCTs are an efficient source of energy, they will be less likely to be stored as fat by the body. MCTs are also less calorific than MCTs and may help suppress appetite and increase fat oxidation. MCTs are an ideal dietary option for anyone looking to reduce body fat.
TCM and power source
MCTs can also provide a sparing effect on both protein and carbohydrate stores in the body. As MCTs are a very efficient source of energy, they become the body’s preferred source of energy. This allows the body to preserve amino acids and glycogen. They are absorbed faster than their cousins, TCLs, because they are shorter and more water soluble. These properties mean that MCTs can pass directly from the intestines into the bloodstream. MCTs are a popular choice as an alternative energy source for athletes on high protein, low carbohydrate diets.
NATURAL DIETARY FIBER
What are fibers and what are they used for?
Health Benefits of Fiber:
Some fibers are used by bacteria in the intestine, they participate in the production of volatile fatty acids necessary for the maintenance and growth of the essential cells of the wall of the large intestine. This action protects the intestinal flora from pathogenic bacteria.
Satiety effect Fiber delays the feeling of hunger and thus limits the risk of overeating.
However, it is important to drink plenty of water when consuming a fiber-rich meal. This is to avoid occlusions in the esophagus. Regulates the absorption of carbohydrates and fats Fiber helps regulate the absorption of carbohydrates and fats in the stomach.
A diet high in fiber will also help lower blood cholesterol levels, and support the cardiovascular system, it will also reduce the risk of gallstones .
A high fiber diet has also been shown to prevent the onset of colon cancer.
STEVIA
What is stevia?
Stevia is a type of aromatic plant native to South America, discovered in Paraguay, which contains a natural sweetener .
Is stevia caloric?
Stevia leaves contain almost no calories, and contain zero carbohydrates ! So much so that stevia extracts sold for consumption as sweeteners are considered calorie-free .
How sweet is stevia?
Stevia leaves have an average sweetening power 300 times greater than that of table sugar
Used in powder form, its sweetening power is 10 to 15 times greater than that of table sugar.
The advantage of stevia is its negligible effect on glycemia (blood sugar level) which makes it perfectly suitable for consumption by diabetics.
Is stevia harmful?
Stevia was authorized for sale on the French market by a decree of January 2010 following the opinion of AFFSA (French Food Safety Agency).
Also in 2010, in May, the European Food Safety Authority issued a favorable opinion concerning the use of various Stevia extracts in foods intended for human consumption.
The renowned journal Food and Chemical Toxicology has published several reports in which it classifies stevia as a sweetener that neither stimulates hunger pangs nor causes weight gain on its own . In addition, the results of toxicological studies published in this review show the harmlessness of stevia for the human population, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, and for children.
In 2006 the World Health Organization (WHO) carried out a study on the carcinogenic nature of stevia, and concluded that there was no evidence of such carcinogenic activity .
What the advantage considerably over other sweeteners is the fact that it can be heated , and therefore incorporated into culinary preparations before cooking, unlike some sweeteners such as asparthame.
Why consume stevia?
In view of the above, it is possible to say that stevia is a sweetener that has passed all the health safety tests, with flying colors. In addition, it is low in calories which allows it to compete with all other table sweeteners. Stevia extracts come from plants, and are therefore less chemical than many other sweeteners.
In addition, stevia is a source of fiber and contains interesting nutrients : vitamin A and C, zinc, potassium magnesium, iron and calcium, to name only the most important!
How to use Raw Veggie?
Raw Veggie is a protein that is used like most protein powders. Indeed, it is enough to mix 1 measure of 30g with approximately 200 to 300 ml of fresh water. Being a vegan product, it would be a shame to mix it with milk for example because that would cancel its 100% vegan side.
Food supplements should be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and not be used as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
